EVALUATION & DEVELOPMENT

The quality and integrity of the services your organization provides largely depends on the knowledge and capabilities of your faculty, staff, and agents. Our holistic approach leverages Dr. Burdine’s experience as a formally trained educator and licensed psychologist in both clinical and academic settings. Emphasizing culturally-informed, stigma-reducing practices, we work with your organization’s leadership to develop and execute tailored strategic transformation programs to equip your organization with the tools and competencies needed to thrive in an demographically and socially dynamic landscape.


Our educational and presentation-based services cover a broad range of topics including, but not limited to: Mental health promotion, preventative care/stigma reduction in underserved populations, embedded mental health in educational settings, cultural identity based stress and trauma, trends in university and college counseling, training and supervision for equity in mental health, stress management in marginalized populations, trauma-informed care, equity and justice in mental health, young adult mental health.

Continuing Education

As mental health service providers, we are required to complete continuing education courses in order to best serve the people in our care. Kimberly Burdine Psychological Services & Consulting provides services for organizations seeking continuing education in areas of cultural diversity, social justice and equity.

PRESENTATIONS & WORKSHOP FACILITATION

Dr. Burdine is an experienced speaker and lecturer, who has been featured as a presenter at events such as the Texas University & College Counseling Center Conference, the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity in Higher Education, the National Multicultural Conference & Summit. We offer speaking and facilitation services, including lectures, roundtables, workshops, keynotes, and other engagements in both academic and non-academic settings.
